Park Circus was established in Scotland, in 2003. It is a leading all-rights sales agency and distribution company representing the greatest names in filmed entertainment. The organisation is head quartered in Glasgow with offices also in London and Los Angeles.

Their classic films distribution and sales divisions represent the major Hollywood and British studios including Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Releasing International, Twentieth Century Fox, Universal Pictures and Warner Bros. Their contemporary division finances, sells and distributes arts, cultural and independent feature films.

Operating worldwide and operating in over 80 countries, the company aims to enable audiences to experience classic and contemporary cinematic content, through working with theatrical exhibition, television, digital and home entertainment partners.  The organisation currently represents theatrical distribution of over 30,000 titles.

The organisation currently turns over between £5-10 million per year and is looking to continue its growth in what is an exciting period for the business following its rebranding in late 2016.

The Opportunity

The business is looking to recruit an experienced Group Financial Controller to run the day to day group finance function and manage a small team. It is envisaged that this individual will be responsible for the full breadth of finance at Park Circus, establishing robust reporting, controls and systems while providing sound commercial input at board level.

The organisation represents an excellent opportunity for a motivated qualified accountant who wants to work in a high growth, internationally focused business environment. In addition, Park Circus will provide a firm career platform with good opportunity for personal and professional development.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing business which is a genuine market leader and contribute to its future success by playing a key role in its journey.

It is critical that the Group Financial Controller can effectively support the CEO’s, while running the finance function meeting the needs of stakeholders both within and external to the business, some of which are major corporate organisations.
