WN Lindsay is looking for a talented proactive senior finance professional to shadow the current Finance Director who is due to retire. The newly appointed Financial Controller will be responsible for driving positive organisational change.

Day to day, you will lead, develop and manage all aspects of WN Lindsay’s financial position. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking on the leadership role in financial decision-making that affects all aspects of the company and will be part of the leadership team decision making process. While managing the overall accounting process, the Finance Controller will lead the continual improvement of financial procedures to maintain and develop the financial health of WN Lindsay.

The Finance Lead will be responsible for implementing real time management information, delivering accurate financial reporting and designing and executing critical cost management processes. With overall responsibility for Finance and IT, you will manage working capital, establish and monitor KPIs, manage budgets & forecasts, banking relationships and statutory processes.  The appointed individual will be part of the leadership team and involved in high level decision making, however the individual must be sufficiently hands-on to ensure the smooth running of the finance function at all times.

Given the role doesn’t sit within a heavily structured environment, the individual must demonstrate a natural understanding for what drives strong performance.

It is crucial the appointed candidate knows what a world class finance function looks like, coupled with the correct leadership style to implement change appropriately. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years PQE with an exceptional business partner mindset.
