Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a prominent business based to the West of Glasgow who have gone through significant change and growth over the last couple of years. As a result of this the business have been adding to their already well established finance team and are now keen to recruit a permanent Business Partner Analyst. This is an integral role for the business which will have wide exposure. A summary of the key aspects of the role is below:

• Weekly forecast
• Key player in Annual Budget process FY20 Budget
• Review of management accounts with management accounts team and investigation and resolution of variances to plan
• Ad hoc analysis as requested by the MD and management team
• Generation of business improvement ideas
• Involvement in annual pricing review and implementation
• Production of (and improvement of) monthly management pack (including non-financial information)
• Capex approval forms
• Support the roll out and understanding of KPIs across the business
• Integration of acquisitions into Group KPI, planning and reporting systems
• Liaise with Group Finance (including Group FP&A) on Group initiatives and projects

This role requires either a fully qualified or part qualified accountant. It is essential that candidates have recent experience in management accounting/budgeting and analysis. There will be extensive excel work and reporting involved in the role where you will have to be able present financial information clearly to support decision making therefore a strong ability within excel is key. The ability to manage high volume data and analyse correctly is also important. This role will offer interaction across the business with both finance and non-finance teams providing broad commercial exposure.
