  • up to £50,000 DOE

Background to the Opportunity

The opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Invoicing Analyst to join our client’s Finance Team for a 12 month FTC. This position will report to the Financial Reporting Manager.

Our client is leading FMCG company.

The Role

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Investigate customer invoicing and revenue recognition discrepancies within a complex consolidated invoicing process, predominantly utilised across large regional and national customers
  • A point of contact for queries on customer invoicing and revenue recognition associated with the consolidated invoicing process and for pricing queries and income recovery for price differential strategies
  • Ensure appropriate monthly controls and monitoring are in place
  • Document the consolidated invoicing process to ensure the knowledge of the process is retained in the business
  • Liaise with customers and their commercial account representatives while investigating issues

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Analytical and innovative mind
  • Commercial knowledge developed in an FMCG environment
  • Experience of data analysis, interpretation and prioritisation
  • Good working knowledge of SAP R/3
