Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a recognisable service sector organisation based West of Glasgow who are looking to add a Business Support Analyst to their finance team for a period of 18 months. The Business Support Analyst is a newly created role which sits as part of the Business Partner Function and will be mainly responsible for delivering financial analysis and month end business planning activities. This role comes at a very important time for the organisation and will be supporting with a change project. Some of the key duties will include:

• Month end reporting
• Producing accurate and on time financial results
• Preparing the monthly reporting pack to Executive area tracking financial performance against business plan and budget
• Acting as a trusted business partner, adding value through accurate insight and analysis
• Key supporting role in Planning Forecast updates supporting Business Support Lead with content for Quarterly Business Review presentation packs reviewed with Executive and delivered to deadlines
• Cost Centre management of supported business area
• Demonstrate understanding of contract commitments and drive completion with business partners

This role requires a fully qualified accountant with previous experience in a business partnering role and ability to contribute to accurate and meaningful financial reporting with supporting insight and analysis.
