Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting a business known for being highly innovative and leaders in their market with a very strong presence in Scotland. Due to a period of maternity they are looking to add to their Group Finance Team for a period of 12-15 months. This management level role will involve a mix of analysis and reporting of Group Financial performance. The role holder will primarily manage the financial period end and budgeting processes and provide appropriate analysis and reporting to Senior Management and the Board. A summary of some of the key duties are:

• Working to meet internal reporting deadlines, leading review meetings with the wider finance team
• Developing the reporting packs, providing insightful analysis of business performance
• Lead Group wide KPI reporting
• Support the Leadership team by providing financial data with thorough analysis and supporting recommendations
• Challenging key stakeholders during the budget process and reporting on the group budget
• Financial modelling activity such as 5 year forecast and scenario based modelling to advise on future impact

This is a highly commercial role which offers regular interaction and influence at a senior level in the organisation. Highly developed analytical skills are essential and the ability to gather and assess large quantities of data from different sources to deliver critical business insight. The role requires a fully qualified accountant with previous experience in a commercial role within a large organisation. The ability to communicate and influence at a senior level is also key as well as having experience of supporting senior management with decision making.
