Description
Rutherford Cross is working with a large business based to the West of Glasgow who are looking to add a permanent Finance Analyst to their team. Working with a well established team the role of Finance Analyst will be varied and will be a mix of developing Management Information systems as well as providing meaningful financial information for the business. A summary of some of the key duties are below:
- Maintenance and continuing further development of Management Information Systems, coordinating all management information currently maintained
- Developing MI in a consistent manner across all divisions
- Based on above, assist in determining gross contribution by customer/contract/activity to make correct investment decisions
- Assist in production of all internal/external KPIs and exception reports
- Preparation of accurate and timely “quick results” for Division, reconcilable to divisional management accounts.
- Supporting operational management in tenders/quotations for new business and ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Supporting invoicing/sales administration department to ensure invoices raised accurately and promptly
- Ensuring standardisation of admin procedures throughout the division and carrying out internal audit programme to ensure complied with.
- Dissemination of divisional management information
This Finance Analyst role requires either a fully qualified or qualified by experience Accountant with strong data manipulation skills and previous experience in a similar role. Communication skills are key in this role as you will be business partnering with areas outwith finance and building relationships. The business are offering a challenging role where you will be able to implement process/system improvements and play an integral role in their finance team with exposure to Senior Management of the organisation.
