Day to day duties:

  • Responsibility for managing a key client portfolio and building and maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients
  • Lead on dealing with large, technically complex clients
  • Manage a number of junior members of staff and ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed
  • Prepare and present proposals for new work
  • Proactive in developing, maintaining and monitoring your network
  • Present internal audit reports to client Audit Committees
  • Provide workshops and presentations to clients and Non-Executive Directors on topics such as risk management
  • Client portfolio: local government, health boards, charities

A unique opportunity which would suit candidates coming from the profession and particularly interested in moving into and internal audit/public sector team or experienced internal audit professions who have trained within the profession and subsequently moved “in-house” and looking to return to a varied client and assignment portfolio.

You will need to maintain a relevant finance or audit qualification, CA/ACA/ACCA/IIA/CIA or equivalent and will enjoy working in a client focused environment. You will be commercial in nature and have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

Given the growth of the team there will be plenty of opportunities to progress, the firm is dedicated to professional development and has a track record of supporting and promoting from within the firm. In addition to a competitive salary and benefits package the firm does maintain a flexible working policy.
