The Loch Lomond Group, established in 1842, is an independent distiller and blender of some of the finest and rarest Scotch whiskies in the world, its heritage being amongst the oldest in the industry. In 2014 The Loch Lomond Distillery was acquired by private equity group Exponent, taking the business out of family ownership for the first time. As part of a management buy-in, a new executive team led by Colin Matthews assumed control of the day-to day running of the group. A leadership team of experienced drinks industry executives was established to lead a business that spans two whisky distilleries, a major bottling operation and the High Commissioner blended Scotch and Glen’s vodka brands.

This is a particularly broad finance role that requires an individual who can influence positively, while meeting the demands of a diverse stakeholder group. The position holder can be either based in Alexandria or Catrine but will be expected to travel between both sites in order to build key relationships across multiple service lines. This is a critical hire where culture fit, attitude, and flexibility, are as important as technical accountancy and finance skills.
